keyframe

Keyframes lock a change in position, angle or scale on a peg to a specific frame.

On motion paths, keyframes are different from control points, which you can insert at any point in the motion path.

You can add keyframes to a motion path using any of the following methods:

You can change the properties of the motion around a keyframe by modifying the Tension, Continuity and Bias values in the Motion Point tab.

You can also add keyframes for motion, rotation and scaling at one time using the Add Keyframe command.

To add a motion, rotation and scaling keyframe:

1. Select a Peg element in the Timeline window.

2. Select the frame you want to add the keyframe to.

3. Select Element > Peg > Add Keyframe. Depending on the tool you have selected (Select, Motion, Rotate or Scale), keyframes appear on the selected frame.
